PUENTE MELO B & B

is a comfortable 5 bedroom house, located on the. Northern edge of Buenos Aires Capital,
available for domestic and foreign touristswho wants to enjoy their stay in a quiet and safe place,
but close to the center of . this great and vertiginous city.

LOCATION and HOW TO GET

We are 2 blocks from Puente Melo (Melo bridge) at its junction with the North Access to Buenos Aires,
behind the Quinta Trabucco, a cultural center very well known in the area.

The neighborhood is called "Florida", to be near train station of the same name,
but it is jurisdiction of the Municipality of Vicente Lopez,
which is in the Province of Buenos Aires, although adjoins the capital-city.

a) coming from the North on the highway, you must take the exit of San Martin
and follow up 500 meters to the Melo Bridge, and from there to the left about 200 meters.

b) coming from the East (from the center or from the Aeroparque and the river) you must enter the North Access
just in front of the shopping DOT, and leave immediately, before getting down to the highway.

c) coming Westerns by Gral Paz (from Liniers or from the airport Ezeiza)
You must enter the North Access, and immediately leave for Puente Melo,
before getting down to the highway.

 

PRICES

We have 5 bedrooms, all with private bathroom, intercom, TV and internet wi-fi,
air conditioning, ceiling fan and security box.
Prices include parking for a midsize car, and continental breakfast.

Outside the rooms, guests can enjoy the common spaces,
as the living room, reading room with a vast library,
board games (chess, cards, etc), orchard and garden, and pool in summer.

TRANSPORT

Go to the center by car is not the best option, by traffic problems and high costs of parking.
We will go by train from the Juan B Justo station, which is 4 blocks from our house.
The formations spend approximately every 15 minutes and these are the time-table

Takes half an hour to reach Retiro Terminal, area of Sheraton Hotel, Plaza San Martin,
the pedestrian Florida, Puerto Madero, Galerias Pacifico ... and many more attractions.

There is also another line passing 8 blocks from house, at Padilla station,
and goes along the coast and aeroparque

 

TOURISM

Our house is located in a truly strategic location, at the crossroads of inputs and outputs
and very close to the most fascinating sites of Buenos Aires, we invite you to discover!

To the north, we are at 1000 meters from shopping DOT, one of the most modern shopping malls in the city.
We are 5 minutes from shopping Unicenter, perhaps the largest and most comprehensive of Argentina.
Also just minutes from the supermarket Easy (tools, garden, and a thousand other things)

From Juan B Justo station can be reached in 10 minutes Tren de la Costa,
and this modern little train reach the wonderful Puerto de Frutos, the Casino de Tigre and the Parque de la Costa,
through lovely places like Borges, Anchorena and San Isidro stations.
And at the end of the tour, that incredible maze of rivers y.trees is our amazing Delta !

Westwards, we are 5 minutes from Technopolis, exhibition center of science and technology.
Eastward, we are 10 minutes from River Plate World Cup Stadium, and University City.
And 10 ' to Children's Park, the Costanera Norte with its restaurants and the Holy Land theme park
A few meters away is the Jorge Newbery Airport, with takeoffs and landings over our heads !
Also the Planetarium, the Botanical Garden, the Zoo, the Palermo woods and Libertador Avenue mansions or Recoleta

It is not possible to name the countless sites astonishment in Buenos Aires, one of the most amazing cities in the world !
From Vicente Lopez you can go out and discover, because we are half an hour from almost anywhere !

And I almost forgot "the South" of Borges stories... places of tango, and antique dealers of San Telmo ...
or la Boca and Caminito walk ... or Plaza de Mayo and the Government House ... or the Cultural Center Bicentennial ...
And I forgot Las Cañitas, Palermo Soho, and the incredible Puerto Madero that looks like the Thames in London !

Do not believe a city-tour will explore totally this wonderful Buenos Aires. Best view it from a helicopter !
